Earn Stuff While Surfing the Internet

There are two main ways to get paid for surfing the web--Paid to Surf programs, and Incentive programs.  Read about Incentive programs below.  We compiled a list of the best sites so you can sign up and start earning points today.

Incentive Programs

Incentive programs are similar to paid to surf programs except they pay in points rather then cash.  You earn points by surfing the web while viewing an advertising bar, or by frequenting the web sites recommended by the program's company.  The points can be used as cybercash to buy goods and services at the program's vendors.  Some programs allow you to convert your points to real money.

Many incentive programs also reward you for referring others into the program.  This is the best way to rack up points and money.  When the people you referred use the services or purchase the products offered by the incentive program's site, you earn points as well.  Its simply a reward for spreading the word.

Not every incentive program will offer the goods or services you desire.  Take a look at the list below and pick a few that meet your fancy.  What have you got to lose?

Click on the links below to go to the incentive program's site and sign up.  They will answer all your questions about how it works and what happens to your privacy.

Our opinion:
This site was ranked as one of the most addictive sites of 1999 and we can see why.  Its fun to bring up a random site that suits your interest level.  The pages come up a little slowly at times.  Also, the categories you pick are often very broad.  For example, choosing the games category could bring up pages containing anything from computer games to crossword puzzles.

FreeRide.com
The most popular click-for-points program on the Web.  Earn everything from free gasoline to free dinner.
Our opinion: Not rated.

Cybergold
Earn cybercash for checking out their selection of online products and services.  Get cybercash back when you buy products from merchants on their site.  You can use your cybercash to purchase products and services at the Cybergold site or convert it to real cash by sending it to your checking account or credit card.
Our opinion:
Not rated.

MyPoints.com

There is a chance for you to make a little extra money by utilizing your computer's idle time.  Why not have your computer help find the first 10,000,000 digit prime number rather then displaying South Park characters during off-hours?  You could make mathematics history and share in a $100,000 cash prize.  See our Distributed Computing page for more details.
